Position: Skin Clinic Nurse

Job Summary:Agelock Skin and Hair Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Skin and hair clinic Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in dermatological procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various skin conditions, assisting with cosmetic and medical dermatology procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Conduct patient assessments and take detailed medical histories.
• Provide pre-and post-treatment care and education to patients.
• Perform skin examinations and document findings.

Clinical Procedures:

• Assist dermatologists with various procedures such as biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, chemical peels, and other skin treatments.
• Administer treatments including injections, medications, and wound care as prescribed.
• Handle and prepare medical equipment and instruments.

Administrative Duties:

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Patient Education and Support:

• Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients undergoing treatments.
• Address patient inquiries professionally.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license.

Education:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology or a related field.
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in dermatological procedures and treatments.
• Strong understanding of skincare products and their applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments and perform procedures.
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
